Introducing &Stories: Independent Voices on the Technology Industry

There is no shortage of content in the technology industry. Every company, agency and platform has a blog, a newsletter or a stream of “thought leadership”. Yet much, if not all of it, is written with a clear commercial objective in mind.

We wanted to create something slightly different.

That’s why we are turning &Stories into a new editorial space where experienced technology journalists and industry voices can explore the issues shaping the sector and write about the topics they find interesting.

The idea is simple: contributors have complete editorial independence and full creative control over what they write. There is no requirement to mention Shift7 and no requirement to reference our clients.

The platform is not intended to be a marketing channel. Instead, it exists to provide a space for thoughtful commentary, observations and perspectives on the technology industry, from artificial intelligence and cybersecurity to the evolving media landscape.

Just as importantly, it is somewhere people can simply come to enjoy and get lost in a good story, written by some of the best writers in the industry.

We are delighted that the first contributor to &Stories will be industry veteran technology journalist Phil Muncaster whose reporting for Infosecurity Magazine, Assured Intelligence, IDG Connect and Tech Monitor, to name just a few, will be familiar to many across the sector.

At Shift7 we believe great communications start with great stories. &Stories is simply our way of supporting the people who spend their careers telling them.
